Everyone is welcome at our camp! ABOUT THE POSITION: We are searching for a dynamic marketer to join our team as Brand Director for the Klymit brand.
As the Brand Director, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of marketing strategies while working hand in hand with product, wholesale sales, DTC and International.
You will play an instrumental role in overseeing and managing the brand's image, identity and reputation while ensuring competitive differentiation and maximum profitability.
This role requires creativity, leadership, and the ability to adapt and prosper in a fast moving, collaborative environment.
You will partner closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Creative and Content teams to advance the business and the brand across all marketing/sales channels.
This position will report directly to the Segment President.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Be the voice and champion of the brand and owner of strategy.
Maintain a holistic view of the brand P&L and be a partner with the brand’s functional unit leadership.
Develop and execute brand strategy, including brand positioning, messaging, and identity.
Own and maintain the communication of brand guidelines.
Analyze market trends and consumer insights to inform brand strategy and industry trends.
Drive the concept to costumer process as it relates to marketing culminating to seasonal launches across product, sales and marketing.
Owns go to market strategy, development & execution.
Own the marketing budget and partner with the marketing team to drive effective return on ad spend across all channels (wholesale, DTC & International).
Manage day-to-day marketing initiatives, review marketing communications and content to ensure alignment of key messaging and positioning across all channels.
Own brief process in the development of creative assets, video, and photography to develop industry-leading campaign assets working with internal creative department.
Ensure that all collateral, PR, social, and external communication plans are in alignment with marketing plans.
Drive & track execution.
Monitor and report on brand performance against defined KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement.
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: 7+ years of marketing/brand manager experience with a consumer products or CPG company LIfestyle brand experience is highly preferred Experience in managing omnichannel seasonal launch of product, sales and marketing programs Broad understanding of brand management and how all facets of the marketing mix can influence consumer behavior, market performance, competitive dynamics, etc.
Experience working cross functionally with various teams and disciplines Experience tracking and executing within assigned project timelines and parameters Ability to clearly articulate strategic direction among multiple groups Ability to give actionable feedback and direction Experience managing budgets Strong leadership and team management skills Passion for the Outdoors Attention to detail SKILLS/PERSONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt quickly to change, demonstrates learning agility with desire to grow and develop Leverages creative thinking, problem solves and generates successful solutions through strategic agility Ability to build credible, effective relationships with stakeholders and team members Team player with a growth, development and challenge accepted mindset Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills Analytical with reporting fundamentals and quality decision making skills Excellent customer focus with professional presence Self-directed, motivated and the ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks and projects Proficient in using technology, Microsoft 365 strongly preferred EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree from an accredited College or University required PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Works in a typical office environment and at times may travel for business for marketing and sales events, trade shows, photo/video shoots, etc.
