*Summary:*
Our Manager Sales and Services Travel position is responsible for managing and coordinating the daily operations of the Member Service Center Travel Team.
*Essential Functions:*
* Accountable for P&L management and revenue profitability through DSU team(s) .
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all billing activities.
Ensure proper documentation and filing, and ongoing collaboration with internal teams to resolve any billing-related issues or disputes.
* Drive AAA Travel revenue through increasing the knowledge and understanding of team members to cross sell, and upsell, additional travel products
* Conducts performance evaluation, implements sales actions plans/coaching, and performance management activities for direct reports
* Responsible for the sale of all AAA products (Travel and Membership)
* Forecasts staffing needs and maintains staffing pipeline through active recruiting employees
* Ensures compliance with AAA policies, procedures, standards and regulations
*Knowledge and Skills:*
* Possess knowledge and understanding of the AAA or Travel booking systems and software
* Understand our preferred vendor program and be able to communicate the benefits of booking travel through our preferred vendors to team members and business partners
* Possess knowledge of Allianz Travel Insurance, the importance of offering this product to our members, and how to process this our system
* Understand the cancellation policy and disclosures that must be read to members at the time of each booking and be able to communicate, and uphold, these policies
* Strong business acumen skills
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong problem-solving, quantitative and analytical skills with a proven ability to make data-driven decisions
* Possess the ability to drive AAA Travel revenue through increasing the knowledge and understanding of team members to cross sell, and upsell, additional travel products as well as how booking through preferred vendors increases our revenue
* Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
*Education, Competencies, Certifications/Licenses:*
High School diploma plus 5 years of sales and/or service , operations to include 2 years of supervisory experience in travel.
Bachelor's degree preferred
Bi-lingual communication skills
In-depth knowledge of Membership, Insurance, Travel, Retail or Financial Services organization(s)
P&L accountability and/or progressively responsible revenue/expense accountability
Knowledge of AAA products and systems
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $73,561.
00 - $80,989.
