Graphic Designer / Wide Format Customer Sales Rep At Grizzly Graphics we are looking for a full-time graphic designer with a wide format background and customer service/ sales rep capabilities.
We specialize in large format printing and production such as yard signs, banners, posters, trade show event graphics, vehicle graphics, custom vinyl cut lettering, and large photography reproduction.
A typical day would include talking with customers about their needs as well as following up with previous proofs and quotes, quoting various products, designing and setting up designs for print and helping other places in the shop as needed.
Pay/Salary: Depending on Experience Hours: 9:00 am - 5:30 pm (30-60 Minute Lunch) Workdays: Monday-Friday Benefits: Health/Medical, PTO, Company Provided Lunch 2x per Week A qualified print designer for Grizzly Graphics must have the following qualifications: * 5+ years in the Print field * 5+ years of recent Graphic Design in the print industry using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
* High proficiency and working knowledge with multi-page and multi-sized documents in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop with emphasis on production output knowledge.
* Willing to work and use PC/Windows Platform * Work with customers on job needs and correlate design aspects over phone and email.
* Ability to make independent and creative decisions about a design without every detail explained.
* Find and use stock photography from Adobe stock and other places.
* Understand how to identify and use fonts from multiple sources.
* Understand how to scale objects in illustration for design on vehicles and other objects * Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment and be able to switch between multiple projects at a moment's notice.
* Understand file output for production as well as what customers need for outside use.
* Ability to take a rough sketch or description from a client and create a dynamic and compelling design with your own creativity.
* Proficient in GMail email client, Google Docs, Google Sheets and Google Calendar * Portfolio showing a majority of projects that are physical print designs.
