JOB SUMMARY
GMRE is seeking an experienced Quality and Compliance Manager to ensure our quality management system (QMS) and Information Security Management System (ISMS) adhere to industry standards.
The manager is responsible for ensuring GMRE’s information security and quality objectives are met and that GMRE complies with the requirements of AS9100, ISO 9001, and ISO/IEC 27001 standards.
The manager is also responsible for ensuring that the organization’s employees are aware of the importance of information security and quality and that they are trained to implement the ISMS and QMS policies effectively.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Partner with GMRE department leads to develop, deploy, manage, and execute our Quality Management System in accordance with the AS9100 standard.
Develop and Implement GMRE’s ISMS in accordance with the ISO/IEC 27001 standard.
Implement methods to inspect, test and evaluate products, production, and organizational processes.
Manage supplier, and customer internal audits and reviews.
Represents GMRE during all customer and regulatory audits.
Investigate root cause/corrective actions for: internal rejections, escapes to customer field returns, audit findings, internal nonconformance’s, and supplier nonconformance’s Oversee the development and maintenance of GMRE QMS, quality processes, work instructions, and quality training requirements.
Conduct regular reviews of supplier/customer quality data and communicate with suppliers/customers on feedback and plans for improvement; areas may include external/internal measurements, corrective actions, and implementation of improvement processes and programs.
Manage the analysis and utilization of data and information from part/product inspection, sales/return data, process audits, etc.
to improve our QMS.
Provide expertise and training for continuous improvement methodologies, problem-solving methodologies, statistical techniques, and quality tools.
Keeps Management team abreast of significant issues related to quality activities and leads quarterly quality management reviews.
Coordinate with other departments within the organization to ensure that all aspects of information security are being addressed.
Review data collected during audits to identify any potential areas of concern.
Establish and enforce policies and procedures related to information security compliance.
Conduct tests to ensure that the organization’s information security measures are effective.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements: REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES Strong working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 standard and audit procedures.
Strong working knowledge of AS 9100D standard.
Understanding of ISO 27001 standard and audit procedures.
Strong working knowledge of process and production auditing.
Strong understanding of continuous improvement methodologies.
Issue resolution and root cause determination.
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
Excellent writing and process development skills Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and, at times, stressful environment.
Ability to maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice as needed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical related discipline preferred.
3+ years of experience in Quality Management/Quality Assurance/Quality Control.
Current Quality Auditor Certification (CQA) or similar certification is preferred but not required.
Experience in auditing techniques required.
SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS Ability to obtain and maintain a U.
S.
Government Security Clearance (Up to Top Secret) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Normal working conditions absent extreme factors.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer.
Must be able to hear and speak well enough to communicate with customers and fellow employees.
TRAVEL REQUIRED Occasional travel - You may be expected to travel for this position for meetings, trainings, and/or site visits.
Less than 5% travel time expected for this position.
