Job Description: As needed, under direction of a school psychologist or related services administrator the special education evaluator will: Administer cognitive and social/behavioral assessment.
Score cognitive and social/behavioral assessments.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications: Working in the field of Education for at least 5 years.
Preference will be given to previous WSD Employees.
Current Utah Educator license.
Masters degree in an Education, Psychology or a related field from an accredited college or university.
Successful completion of at least 3 credit hours of graduate level psychometrics coursework completed at an accredited university preferred.
Training in the administration and scoring of the Woodcock-Johnson IV Cognitive and Achievement assessments, including pass off with trainer.
Willing to enroll in and complete graduate level courses to complete endorsement in special education evaluations, including practicum.
Preference - Experience in conducting cognitive assessments and behavioral assessments in school settings in Spanish.
