Tumbling Coach

If you LOVE coaching, LOVE encouraging children and teenagers to grow and succeed and enjoy working with a talented and energetic group of instructors we would LOVE to have you on our team! We are looking for one to two talented tumbling coaches that can work daytime hours between 11:30-2pm to coach preschool tumbling classes and/or instructors to sub and coach evening classes between 4-9pm.
Candidates MUST have prior coaching experience and be able to demonstrate a competent knowledge of tumbling methods and skills.
We are looking for individuals that can help cover other instructors shifts when they are out-of-town and work one to two evenings or days a week coaching in two to three hour blocks.
Duties: - Provide tumbling coaching and instruction to students.
- Implement our tumbling training program to improve students' skills and performance.
- Teach and educate students on the rules, techniques, and strategies of the sport.
- Create a safe and inclusive environment for students to learn and participate in tumbling - Manage student behavior and maintain discipline during training sessions.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with other coaches and staff to coordinate schedules and events.
Skills: - Strong background in tumbling especially through advanced levels with skills such as layouts and fulls.
- Experience working with children or students in a coaching setting.
- Knowledge of behavior management techniques to ensure a positive learning environment.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate students.
- Passion for teaching and helping students develop their skills.
- Flexibility to adapt coaching methods based on individual student needs Job Type: Part-time Pay: $16.
