Job Summary/Basic Function
Tutor WSU students in Computer Science at the Ogden Learning Center as part of the Learning Support department.
Tutoring is done on a drop-in basis.
Availability for drop-in shifts is determined by the tutor.
We require and provide training in tutoring techniques.
**This is a pooled position.
Applicants are selected from the pool as positions become available.
After a period of time the pool will expire and applicants will be notified.
Required Qualifications
Must be a WSU student.
Must have earned a B or better in the courses you propose to tutor.
A strong working knowledge of the subject matter you will be tutoring.
Good listening, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to tutor many different courses.
