Davis County Senior Services is currently hiring for a full-time Senior Center Activities Coordinator.
The Senior Activity Centers offer activities for those seniors looking to meet new friends, develop new interests, and/or to pursue a new hobby.
This position plans and coordinates activities for the senior citizen population in the community.
LOCATION: This position will report to one of the three Senior Activity Centers located in Clearfield, Kaysville, and Bountiful.
PAY RATE AND BENEFITS
$18.
65 - $28.
76/hr, Salary based on qualifications and experience.

REQUIREMENTS
High school graduation (or equivalent), plus four (4) years of full-time complex related clerical or administrative support experience, one (1) year of which must include planning and coordinating activities, events and/or classes.
An acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered.
Preference for current Davis County Health Department employees.

Day to Day Duties
Plans and coordinates a variety of programs, activities, classes and trips for senior citizens.
Monitors and evaluates the effectiveness of activities.
Promotes center functions by creating communication materials.
Recruits, trains and directs volunteers to help with center activities and programs.
Assists with the daily operations of the senior center.
Teach required classes as needed or assigned.
Promotes and maintains positive interactions and communication with volunteers, staff and community partners.
